Quality lingerie is an investment. With the right care, fine lace and elastic materials keep their shape and colour for years.
First: wash bras in a laundry net with the clasp closed, ideally on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. This keeps hooks from catching in fine lace.
Second: use a delicate detergent without fabric softener. Softener attacks the elastane fibres, the material stretches out and loses its support.
Third: underwired bras never go in the dryer. The heat deforms wires and cups. Lay your lingerie flat to dry, out of direct sunlight.
Fourth: give every bra a day off. The elastane recovers overnight and the material keeps its elasticity much longer. Three bras in rotation last longer than two.
