The Swiss family business with heart
1934
Peter Rossner founds a hosiery factory in St. Gallen, the Rossner AG.
1940
Nylon stockings are a huge success. Peter Rossner decides to sell his products in his own retail chain. He names it PEROSA (PEter ROssner SAnkt Gallen).
1972
Rossner's son Manfred sells the hosiery factory to the embroidery company Bischoff-Textil.
1979
Alex Schärer acquires the Perosa chain. The retail businesses of Alex R. Schärer (Andra Dessous) and the Perosa chain merge. After restructuring, 22 stores remain.
1980
Alex Schärer additionally acquires the Rossner hosiery factory in St. Gallen.
1994
Alex Schärer's son Roger takes over the Perosa chain together with his wife Cornelia. Expansion to 25 Perosa stores.
1995
The Rossner hosiery factory in St. Gallen is taken over by the Flexy hosiery factory in Marbach SG, which continues to supply stockings to Perosa.
2025
Perosa AG generates sales of 10.0 million francs. The group comprises 16 Perosa boutiques and 1 Andra-Calida lingerie store.
